Fun with bubble baths

The Joy of Taking Bubble Baths

A good bubble bath can be compared to a great breeze on a crisp spring day or even the smell of fresh laundry right off the clothesline; and as such, a bubble bath can give us a momentary lift from our ordinary day. Bubble baths can also bring back some of our earliest childhood memories when we see that mysterious powder being turned into a thrilling bath! Creating all that foam and our own private seascape was surely a pleasure in itself!

As adults, we treat showering and bathing as a mandatory requirement. As such, we don’t run into a bubble bath at the end of the day; instead we jump in the bathroom as quickly as possible to take a quick shower before the day begins. Of course, every once in a while we may opt for a slow, relaxing bath. The panorama of a good bubble bath can help us to reinstate our earlier and long lost sense of relaxation surrounding bath time.

For parents, a bubble bath can be even more advantageous as it instills a sense of encouragement to their children to take baths. A shower may be a bit too difficult for some smaller children and a plain old boring bath is no fun, but with the small addition of soap bubble bath powder along with a few toys, this act of cleaning oneself regularly may become habitual. Parents can also be confident that the soap used to create the bubbles will help to remove surface dirt without the use of harsh detergents or skin irritants.

Bubble bath soaps designed for adults frequently contain a nice blend of herbal essences, oils and natural fragrances. In addition to the already mentioned soothing effects, a bubble bath can reinvigorate the skin and provide a sort of aromatherapy. The cleansing foam used also permits bathers to relax a little more as constant scrubbing isn’t required. Also, sometimes a good long soak in a bubble bath restores the person’s mind far faster than a shower ever could.
